Straight from Zuzunaga's Bitmap collection; the Shanghai 1 Merino Wool Throw Blanket boasts a jacquard technique, in addition to the use of three vibrant colors with a fourth and final color for stitching. This pixel-print blanket's modern aesthetic and striking appearance began from a photo of Jin Mao Tower, one of the tallest and most iconic structures in Shanghai. The original design is the result of zooming in on this photo until only points of color, or pixels remain. Vibrant red, representing Chinese identity, combines with a softer blue and yellow to create an eye-catching contrast.
