


Skagerak Cutter Stool | Wood
The first piece of Skagerakās Cutter collection was a wooden bench that Niels Hvass designed in 1999 for the Planken Ud exhibition at Designmuseum Danmark. The clean-lined design of the bench comprises a simple wooden frame and slats connected by finger joints. Hvass drew his inspiration for the continuous shape of the base from Bauhaus movementās use of metal tubes. Today, the Cutter collection features numerous new designs from a stool to a mirror and storage elements that share the timeless and airy design of the original bench.[Details]
