Oigen uses the techniques and traditions of producing Nambu ironware from the city of Iwate with over 900 years of experience. Made from 75% recycled material, it is casted in a fine grain sand that the ironware has a renowned smooth and unblemished surface unlike other cast irons and naturally heats up quicker than other material kettles.
